Lowry Art Project

 A group of Year 5 and 6 pupils have been busy sketching and painting with the artist Sue Rowland to create a large scale canvas of Bourne Abbey C of E Primary Academy in the style of the mcuh acclaimed artist L.S. Lowry, who began painting at the age of 15.

The children have learnt all about how to use acrylic paints and have had fun experimenting with different colours and tones.  The completed canvas is bold, bright and ey-catching, with detail and interest everywhere you look and will hang in a prominent position in the school.
