Year 4 at Peterborough Museum

They took part in a number of wonderful activities, which included making remarkable Roman pottery, learning how to be a Roman solider and even having a go at being archaeologists! They learnt how to put on togas correctly, created their own clay face and some lucky children even got to try on a uniform that the army wore! As well as this exciting learning, Year 4 travelled back to the local markets to learn about the food and money the Romans would have used. Miss Gabi Huggins, Year 4 teacher, said “After such a fun and engaging day, the children will certainly have lots of amazing facts and information to use in their learning and have made some super memories too!”
