Initially they had to design a speeding ticket, which included the key messages of why speeding, especially next to a school, was so dangerous. Once one ticket had been selected, the children then had the chance to go out and use the speed gun on Abbey Road. Any motorist who was caught speeding had the option of receiving an actual speeding ticket or the pupils’ one, which also came with a stern telling off! Mr Jim Shore, Assistant Head, said, “The afternoon was very insightful for the cadets and they thoroughly enjoyed their experience. Thanks to our fantastic PCSOs for their support and encourgatement.”
