Tag Rugby

Twenty children from Year Four at Bourne Abbey C of E Primary Academy and Bourne Elsea Park C of E Primary Acaemy attended a Tag Rugby Festival in Spalding on Tuesday 20th October.  It was a beautiful, sunny autumn day, perfect for being outside running around in the fresh air.  The pupils have learned some tag rugby in lessons, but were keen to acquire more skills in this energetic sport.

On arriving they were put into groups with children from other schools which gave them a fantastic opportunity to make new friends as well as improve their rugby skills.  Students from year 10 at Spalding Grammar School provided coaching practices during the morning and then the children got to play some fun games of tag rugby in the afternoon.

The children came back to school buzzing after having had a brilliant, action packed day and are keen to play more tag rugby.
