Comic Relief Day

On Friday 13th March pupils at Bourne Abbey and Bourne Elsea Park Church of England Primary Academies dug out their brightest clothes for Comic Relief. The playground was awash with neon and all the colours of the rainbow as the children threw themselves enthusiastically into our theme for the day – The Brighter the Better. There were plenty of red noses and ‘silly faces’ to be seen too!

Children thoroughly enjoyed Comic Relief activities during the day, from a ‘bake off’ in Year 4 to designing and decorating biscuits in Year 2; all the time remembering this amazing cause.

Since the last Red Nose Day, Comic Relief has helped over 12 million people living unimaginably tough lives all over the world. Money raised this Red Nose Day will help to change the lives of millions more.

We would like to thank all of our parents and carers for their support, ensuring the children had a truly memorable day.
