Children In Need

On Friday 17th November Bourne Abbey was filled with Superheroes, Victorians, Romans, characters from Charlie and the Chocolate Facotory and Katie Morag and children in pyjamas! It was all in aid of Children in Need. We started the day with our annual tradition of covering Pudsey with money.

Everybody had a go at the amazing obstacle course on the astroturf. Designed by Student Councillors, the course included hockey dribbling, jumping hurdles, kicking footballs and the highlight; scrambling under a huge cargo net!

In Year 1 children iced bisuits and designed outfits and bandanas for Pudsey.

Year 3 held discussions on how different life would be if we were disabled, didn't having loving families, had a life changing illness or lived in an area where people really struggled to have enough money to live. It really made us think about how lucky we are and how grateful we should be for the things we have.

Well done everyone for all your efforts and a huge thank you to our amazing fmailies for supporting the cuase with sponsership money and costumes.
