Anti-Sexist Statement

Cooking in Year 2We are very proud of our school and we want our pupils to enjoy the many exciting learning opportunities that we offer.

We believe that sexism prevents equal opportunities for all because it narrows children's expectations and choices.  We aim to broaden gender roles and encourage girls and boys to value and respect themselves, each other and their contributions.  We encourage girls to to take more initiative, to be more active, adventurous and independent and boys to be more sensitive, caring, co-operative, compassionate and domestically skilled.

  • We are AGAINST racism and sexism.
  • We are FOR equal learning opportunities for all children.
