2 OR 3 DAYS PER WEEK (NEGOTIABLE)

To start January 2019

Bourne Abbey is a large three form entry Church Academy situated in South Lincolnshire, between Peterborough and Stamford. Our vision for each child is that they will work towards their personal best, in a caring and nurturing atmosphere, which reflects the Christian values of our Academy.

MUSIC TEACHER

3 DAYS PER WEEK (FLEXIBLE)

TO START ASAP (start date negotiable for the right candidate)

Bourne Abbey and Bourne Elsea Park, both part of Abbey Academies Trust, are Church Academies situated in South Lincolnshire, between Peterborough and Stamford. Bourne Abbey is a large, three form entry academy and Bourne Elsea Park is a new one form entry academy opened in September 2014.   Our vision for each child is that they will work towards their personal best, in a caring and nurturing atmosphere, which reflects the Christian values of our academies.

HAVE YOU GOT THE WOW FACTOR?

The governors are looking to appoint an outstanding and dynamic music teacher to lead the music provision in our schools.This position is initially for 3 days per week with the opportunity for additional hours for the right candidate.

Your responsibilities would include:

  • Leading curriculum and extra-curricular music opportunities
  • Leading singing throughout our schools in collective worship, at key events and with our choirs
  • Working with our choirs to enter competitions and attend local community events, showcasing high quality singing
  • Co-ordinating and overseeing the peripatetic music tuition given by the Lincolnshire Music Service
